TM 5400 CI+Super . USB memory stick problem.

Downloaded the latest softcam file using the Technomate maker 1.5. I have done this so many times before without a problem. The problem I have now is for the first time ever, none of my memory sticks when inserted into the usb socket in my TM will display any softcam files held on the stick. This is really strange as patches etc show up okay.
Does anyone have any ideas what is happening here, please.

Try download from sat universe any softcam..or change patch in your receiver..

Issue resolved at last.
Did a factory reset everything back to normal.

Glad you sorted it Dave just as a side note I had the exact same problem as yourself a while back.
Due to the USB socket being on the rear of the Technomate on the 5400 CI+ Super model I leave a small USB extension cable plugged in the rear of the unit so that I can leave the unit in situ and not have the hassle of pulling the unit out when I need to update patches/softcams etc. All of a sudden my Technomate stopped seeing USB sticks when plugged into the extension cable I tried upgrades/downgrades of various patches via RS232 to no no avail in the end it turned out the cable that had become faulty.
My tip always check the obvious first
