There is nothing between the 2 apart from the 5402 has RF modulator and a channel editor and a lot more support, the 5302 has no RF modulator a different menu system but shares the same sensitive tuner.

If you can afford the 5402 get this there are plenty of channel lists available as it is the same as the Blade7000 and the Strong HD receivers

Latest 1.26p patch firmware can be found here

you will also need the 002.addon file that gives you CCcam & Newcamd here:

All you need to do is put the patched firmware file on a USB stick place in box press USB button on remote and select datat transfer for both files

how do you find the TM 5402 now you have had if for a bit as i have an old tm-7755 that sat in a draw until i got round to fixing the psu and there is no support for it so was looking for a new one and if i ham going to get one it will have to be HD just don't know which is best any help welcome

TM 5402 working great, easy menu and now HDMI no need for scart etc.

loaded patch and addon file, all seems ok, is there a section on addon files as I have no idea on this or what I am suposed to do

addon give your receiver newcamd and cccam client abilities

and press the numbers 8281 on the remote to access the newcamd and cccam menu

and for Biss menu press the numbers 8280
