Hi All
Will my TM1500Ci receive DVB S2 Channels ?
Have updated to the latest firmware but still unable to
receive DVB S2 or DVB S ?
And what is DVB S & S2

DVB-S is simply the format for Standard def Broadcast
DVB-S2 is simply the format for High def Broadcast

Since your reciever is a very old bog Standard SD box
you wont be getting any DVB-S2 Feeds or HD channels
in other words you require an upgrade to HD Box if you want to watch both SD And HD feeds and channels ..its just that simple .
hopefully that answers your questions ??

the TM5402HD is an excellent reciever for fringe reception and is 90% identical to the 1500. there is the new TM F3/5 which can be got for £99 and is basically the same as a DR-HD D15. regards mdt

Go for TM5402 M2 HD CI Super
you wont regret it and you will have pretty much the same identical menus as your TM1500CI box aswell .
There really is no downside to upgrading to this box
i use my TM5402 M2 HD for more than a year now and its great for Feedhunting and regular HD DVB-S2 Feeds .
