The QYOU launches in Germany

US pay-TV channel The QYOU has expanded to Germany, transmitting in both SD and HD quality on Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV platform Entertain.
At The QYOU, hosts present web videos from portals such as YouTube, for example comedy, music, dance, sports or short movies. During daytime, young viewers are targeted in the Q-Zone while Q-Prime in the evening targets the whole family.
The commercial-free channel which launched in October 2014 in the USA shows 16 videos per hour on average. In March 2015, The QYOU announced its launch in Europe.
The SD version can be received by all Entertain customers at no additional charge while the HD Start package needs to be subscribed to in order to access the HD version.
