The French version of TCM (Turner Classic Movies) will launch an HD simulcast on April 5. CanalSat and Numéricable will be the first platforms in the country to carry the HD version with others following soon.
Two African channels, RTI 1 (from the Ivory Coast) and RTB (from Burkina Faso) have launched FTA broadcasts on the Astra position at 19 degrees East for reception across Europe – and France in particular: http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=895350&postcount=2
German cable operator Unitymedia will start to distribute 13th Street Universal HD. The channel replaces DeLuxe Music.
