Bad news!:mecry:
SRG encrypts its TV programs for copyright reasons via DVB-S as territorial protection with the encryption system Viaccess-Orca. This ensures that purchased items can only be received by TV households in Switzerland or by Swiss abroad.
For the older generations of Sat-Access cards, security is no longer guaranteed. That's why we have replaced the card versions 2.6 / 3.0 during the last years. In April 2018 we start the renewal of the Sat-Access-Karte Version 4.0.
Important to know: no one has to do anything on his own. Customers do not have to react until we contact them. After receiving our e-mail or customer letter, you will have three months to replace the old one. The renewal is chargeable (CHF 20.- per card). Non-renewed cards will be deactivated after a one-time reminder. The SRG programs can no longer be received.
Technical information for distributors
