Export to Spark Editor error
Has anyone else noticed that when you export channels from your 8900 for use in the Spark Editor, the channels get mixed up.
IMO this makes the editor completely pointless. This is a serious bug in the Spark export process.
I export the files as .XML using Menu>System>Upgrade>Database Transformer
Am I missing something here? I mean I spent hours sorting out my channels into logical groups to have it all messed up. Pointless.
The channel order uploads perfectly, so its a bug in SPARK itself.
I also find using the interface built into the Amiko far superior than the Spark Editor, try moving a channel from the last position to the first in the editor for an example, it takes ages, slowly scrolling through the channel list finally to be pot luck as to where they end up. Very messy.
I also thought it would be nice if it offered a way to manually add channels etc.
The Editor should speed up the process of grouping / favorites, but its BETA at best, not very functional and SLOW. The messed up channel negates any work carried out in the Editor if you have to spend another couple of hours resorting channels once they are uploaded again.
I have attached the latest version 1.6 I found.
