the powerbutton on my dm800se is stuck (can"t switch between on/off)it has power but after while it lost connection and i have to put the 12 volt power in again .....does somebody know an online shop were i can buy spareparts(the powerswitch for the dm800se)
i only can found the remote,tuners, an hdd sata on the internet?

or does somebody have a old broken dm800se so i can take over that switch?

Sounds like a faulty power supply or a dodgy ribbon cable connection, unlikely to be the power switch, as it switches on.

Check the PSU connection to the box, should be a tight fit, not loose.

If you have a multi meter check power supply for a constant output.

Failing a replacement PSU, at your disposal, you could take the cover off and very carefully undo and remake the ribbon cable connection between the front board and the mainboard.

Ideally, your best bet would be to try a known good power supply.

thanks for reply

but it is powerbutton opened box and take out the powerbutton
i can"t click between 0/1 the buttons is stucked on the 1 side
that"s why i have power but after a while the box goes out and i have to put in the 12 volt again to start up the box

i think something is broken inside that...but i cant open the power button (the black colored block)

you should be able to get a compatible one at maplins or any other online electrical/components store, I remember seeing a post on here similar and he got one from maplins :thum:

Am I correct in understanding that you are referring to the rocker switch at the back, not the standby button on the front?

If it is the rocker switch, you can bypass the switch. Make sure you insulate wires properly.

thanks for advice....but i ordered switch at conrad(dutch onlineshop)and box working fine again thanks all for advice
