sound stutters r13544

I have tried Sif and BMT's DGS based r13544 images with same result. After approx 12 hours the sound starts to stutter and gradually get worse and worse. If I reboot the IP9000 box the problem disappears instantly.

Anyone got a suggestion as to what's wrong?

What is your audio setup ?
ru outputting your sound via HDMI, RCA or Optical SPDIF
ru using AC3 downmix or not ?
What EMO ru using ?
Is there any picture deterioration at all ?

The output is SCART, however I have tried changing every AV setting one-by-one with no effect.
There is no picture deteriation and the box doesn't hang or lag either. It's just the sound that stutters.

intermittent stutter

I had a similar problem last yr,although i was getting 80 and 100% signal strength /quality . perfect picture but on certain channels , eg the weakest channels the sound used to break up.
I found it hard to cure untill i disconnected my coax from the auto positioner and fed direct to ipbox. this has cured it so by feeding thr the positioner it reduced the signal strength although showed 80% & 100%.
therefor i would check the coax especially the joints
oh and i found this hard to believe as im running a 1.8mtr dish.

I have the same problem. Seems DGS image problem. Happens in latest images. Seems to be associated with bitrate of channel. The higher the bitrate, the worse the problem. Rebooting does fix temporarily. Could be a memory leak problem. Older images are ok.
