As the topic says i've got a 7020 thats started playing up. seems it doesn't like certain coax feeding the tuner and randomly does strange things to my motor.
My dm7000 plugged into the same system does fine its just the 7020 thats playing up.
I figured its prob the tuner but when i went to replace it i found the whole thing is soldered onto the board, rather than the plug in type. Anyone replaced one of these before? Got any pointers
Just incase any of u have fix similar problems, It won't see my standard sky dish at all. It uses the thin shotgun coax which i reckon isn't giving a good connection inside the tuner. On my motorised dish it works for a few days then starts randomly pointing the dish before finally sending it to the end of its limits and locking there. if i disconnect and hook up my older box the dish comes back and then i can reconnect the 7020
