Czech and Slovak DTH platform Skylink is to introduce approved SMiT’s Irdeto Advanced Security Dual Mode CAM. The new product is being made available this month from local retailers.
“We tested and certified SMiT’s Irdeto Advanced Security Dual Mode CAM with its proven technology to assist in protecting our premium contents against piracy,” said Dušan Kone?ný, CTO, Skylink. “SMiT has a demonstrated track record in the industry and the region in providing superior products with top level content security, which is important for us to ensure our business is successful.”
Added SMiT VP Stephen He: “SMiT has been supplying secure CA modules to many operators in Europe, and honored to be certified by Skylink to supply Skylink Ready CAM to Czech and Slovak markets.”
Skylink is understood to be for sale with a buyer anticipated to be announced within the next few weeks.
