Sly Box Office on Dreambox

Hi

I currently use my sly uk card in a dreambox 800 and was wondering if i put the card into its original box and buy something on sly box office such as next weeks boxing fight could i be able to put it back in the dreambox and watch it on that?

yes if you have the box office channels scanned in, but if you have a motorised system check on lj's football page and see if its not fta somewhere else first before you pay.

Nahh i dont have a motorised dish but i dont mind paying. Would it work on my 500 upstairs which is connected to the 800.

yes with the correct settings in both boxes


example 800
F: DM500 DM500 0 0 0 { 0:0:1 }

example 500
C: 192.168.0.1 12000 DM500 DM500

the ip address is the ip of the 800 downstairs, 12000 is the port (default) DM500 = username DM500 = password

Ok thanks. I've already got it all set up just wondered if sky box office would work too thanks.

Another question could the dreambox 800 be able to display the 3D channels as i already have full sky world and looking to get a 3D tv.
