Skylink and CS Link merge with M77

The Czech & Slovak DTH platforms Skylink and CS Link, which have hitherto been operated by TradeTec and Media Vision respectively, have officially been merged with their Luxembourg-based parent company M77 Group.
In a statement released by both, they say that they are now part of a large international company with the potential for the further development of services in the future.
They add that the merger, which was finalised at the end of March, should have no complications for their customers and that all the platforms’ obligations will be automatically transferred to the M77 Group.
Both Skylink and CS Link were acquired by the M77 Group in 2011 and underwent a restructuring process last month.
Despite now being part of their parent company, they still appear to be operating as separate services and targeting different audiences.
