sim 2.10 on original? it's possible?

Hi guys, simple and very basic question, as I've an original Dreambox 800se, and sometimes I look for new images, but I see that sim 2.10 are more than original also with more colourful skins, I want to ask if is possible to install 'sim 2.10' images on an 'original' dm800se (I've seen that the new drivers works also on sim 2.10), most probably with tips if I can please, thanks, ciao.

on original dreambox only original IMAGE can be installed
the original box the SIM is glu it on and will be very hard for you to change the sim only with special solvent the sim can be removed

I didn't mean to remove the SIM I was only asking if was possible to put a patched image with original drivers on, that's all.

no you cannot you will get an ERROR NO CA, just put an original image then the different skin and plugins etc!

Hi mate, I tried few, but I cannot find all the time the skins that I like on original images and also not all are adaptable for the images.

skins got nothing to do whether image is clone or genuine, just need a compatible image

You can yes

Flash the sim 2 image to your original box but when it completes do not reboot or youll get the NO CA error

Click back or start browser flashing again and now flash the latest Original SSL and then reboot your box.

Once booted then send in original drivers and that's it.

I know that the skins are nothing to do with images, what i was trying to say was that on original images you wont get more than one skin, on the sim2 images you get few skins for each image.

there are a lot of skins for original images!!
The skins are made by teams for original images in first place!!!

Hi mate, I downloaded the 2 attached files on there, but I need the original SSL please, so I install the 'sim2' image then before reboot the box put in the SSL, then once restarted the box from FTP send the 2 module (drivers) and restart the box, is the correct way to do it? Then I've another question, why the drivers modules are 2, do I need to put both in? Thanks, ciao.

Use that to boot image and then you can update that ssl once booted with a later IPK

ok I flash the image then the nfi SSL (without rebooting) then once on I transfer the SSL.ipk and the two drivers file on temp and I install from 'istall manually addon'.......am I right?
