Showtime EPG

How can I stop automatic EPG on the Showtime package in Nabilosat, it is very tedious, pops up on it's own, takes up almost all the screen and is very slow to update.

Hi mate

Have you checked the EPG settings?

Press the blue button setup then EPG settings

Now im not 100% the Showtime EPG is included in the Nabilo EPG as ive no use for a showtime EPG. If it is press the red button for settings and disable it.

If not please give more details.

All other packages are set to download at 22.00, that is no problem as I set the time myself, but with Showtime there is some settings inside the Nabilosat images that automatically start the epg download. The problem is that you get a popup screen that stays visable until it finishes and you can hardly see anything behind it.

There is a setting somewhere to disable the pop-up ive seen it. Im not in front of mine till later this evening and im struggling to remember where that setting is. Im sure it would be on the red button.

When the popup appears does pressing the OK button not clear it?

Just had a look at some old Nabilo readmes/change logs.

And from BH7 they added this

NABILO E2 EPG - Enable/Disable Pop Up Window

A new setting is added to the Nabilo E2 EPG. Set it to NO if you want to hide the EPG download Pop Up window

So should be on the red button.

Same problem here, am certain I read somewhere how to disable popup window, but can't remeber where.
Will have a look again tonight as I am at work right now.

Disabling 'show popup window' in general EPG settings seems to have solved the problem
