Sex And The City creator Darren Star has signed to create a new series for HBO, claims The Hollywood Reporter.
Starr has finalised a two-year deal with the network which will see him produce his first solo show in ten years since Sex debuted on the channel in 1998.
"They say you can never go home again, but with this deal at HBO, I feel I am," he said. "I can say from my fortunate experience that there is nothing in the world quite like having a series on HBO."
He has also been contracted to oversee comedy and drama projects by other writers.
Starr is currently developing HBO pilot Diary Of A Manhattan Call Girl. His previous creator credits include Fox's Beverly Hills, 90210 and its spinoff Melrose Place.
