I have a little bit of a weird setup as I live out in spain.
I have a small dish pointing at 28.2 which i use to get a lot of the sky stuff(apart from terrestrial, of course) and my neighbour has a line of site setup - parabolic dish but the lnb is at the back of the dish and pointing to a transmitter on the hill.
I have taken a feed from the 'LNB OUT' of his box down to my box, and I can receive just fine, although for some reason 2 of the transponders don't work (i get good signal but hardly any quality, strange as his get 100% signal & Quality)
however, i have these feeds plugged into a diseqc 2.0 switch then of course into the box. i cant seem to control the switch though.
I have set a switch up before, so i know what im doing there.
is it because i am taking the feed from his box and not from an LNB that I cant switch? possibly because his box is already giving the lnb power or something?
cheers guys. and if you know why 2 transponders might not work on my box as stated then also some pointers there please.
