Russian DTT decision in September

RTRSThe final composition of Russia’s second DTT multiplex should be known by the end of September.
According to Kommersant, Roskomnadzor recently announced a competition for a slot on the multiplex vacated in April by TV Center, which is now on the first multiplex.
Although the initial tender for the second multiplex was oversubscribed, at least one of the failed bidders – Russia Today – will not participate in the new contest.
However, Profmedia, Komsomolskaya Pravda and O2TV are among those that will.
Once fully up and running, the second multiplex will cover 97.6% of Russia’s population.
