Russian cableco makes progress

The Russian cable operator ER Telecom has announced that it is already offering its new “Dom.ru.TV Home Entertainment Centre” in nine cities.
The service, which will be made available in all the other cities in which ER Telecom operates by the end of 2013, offers viewers a basic package of 20 HD channels.
This will be increased to 70 by next year. It also includes over 90 SD channels.
It also allows subscribers to create a complete home entertainment centre that combines TV, interactive applications and interactive features on a single screen.
