RTR eyes more channels

The Russian state broadcaster VGTRK (RTR) plans to launch three more digital channels this year.
Quoted in the local media, its deputy CEO Dmitry Medvikov said the channels would be Modern Detective, IQ HD and the tentatively titles Living Planet, with the latter making its debut late this year or in early 2015.
RTR already produces 10 channels under the ‘Digital Television’ brand, including Moya Planeta, Sport, Sport-1, Sarafan and Rossiya HD.
