Restart DM800 sim 2.01

I have tried many sim 2.01 images with differents SSL. But it's the same result every time. The box can restart and the fan is very quiet when it's cold, but after ca 20min the problem starts: It won't restart from the menu. Dreammultimedia logo flashing, freeze or the panel is black. And the fan spins/speeds up and gets noicy. Have to take out the powercord to start up again after a while. Have tried to change the powersupply, and the M tuner with another tuner i've got, and also change sim 2.01 card without any luck.. Can't see some swollen capacitors.

Any tips?

Hi mate

Sounds like a over heating issue.

Take the top off remove the small CPU fan and point something a bit bigger at it.

Test to see if the problem still persists

to me its sounds like the fan stops when you get sound, it can't speed up

When i get the box it would'nt start up. A capcitator L36s was broken. Replaced with a new one, and the box startedIf i use a cooling pad, the box can restart from the DMM menu. Today the China-man means it's probably a problem with capcitator L36a..
