Some people are having problems with RC not responding to commands
due to plasma interference also happens on some lcd tv's

The fix is if you have a energy saving intelligent sensor on your tv is to switch it on,
this will dim the picture thus enabling your remote to function as it should

Hope this helps if your are having issues with your rc

Thanks for the Tip but if your not using the official remote such as myself and are using a 3rd party remote like a Logitech for instance then these are unaffected

Huge RC Problems

I have a 50" LG Plasma and both of the remotes, the original and a Logitech Harmony 1100 don't work or work sporadically... Thank you for this post because I was going insane with this and I was ready to return the receiver... Now I guess I'm going to return the TV...

PS. I didn't have such problems with the DM800 I used to have before!

Remote issue

I have same issues with my Solo2 remote, sometimes it works other times it wont? does not matter what I have my energy saver set to on my LG plasma, I have found a partial solution using a wireless keyboard board, but have yet to fathom how to get the coloured buttons to work on keyboard, but I can scroll through the menus easily using it and select. is there any plugin out there that enables a keyboard to work and to give it full functionality?

Some people have also resorted to sticking a bit of tape over the ir sensor of the box. Apparently it fliters out the interference.
