Remote control from PC

Is there a low resource usage plugin that allows you to have a virtual remote control to control the dreambox from a PC? I've tried Dreambox Webcontrol, but it spikes up the cpu usage whenever using it.

I just need something simple that provides the same functionality that the physical dreambox remote control does without all the extra stuff in Dreambox Webcontrol.

I've tried that and see that I can do things like reboot the receiver, but I wanted a virtual remote control that I can use to do the same things that a physical remote control can.

There's a remote control button at the top right of DCC, but that just opens up the Web Interface for dreambox, which is the part that causes high cpu load. I was looking for a standalone remote application with low cpu/ram usage.
