hi m8s ive set the recording for 50 mins instead of 5 how do i stop and delete this im using a vix image

try pressing the red button and see if it gives you options

Bit late now but for future reference if you start a manual recording and want to stop it go into timers yes even though its a manual recording and you'll see the recording taking place highlight it press the menu button then select delete.
