Record full .ts Dreambox to get crypt8

Hi,

i'm trying to get crypt8 with my Dreambox 7020HD but I'm discouraged because i tried to record 5min (1st attempt), 5 min (2nd), 10min(3rd), 20 minutes to get... nothing. Only a few times i get crypt8 in 1-2 minutes but are more failed attempts than successful. Any ideas or experience??? Is there a plugin more efficient? Is not a full .ts (with all ECM and PID's)? With a pc card only few seconds are needed...

You need to STOP the emu in order to record the TS,in the first place.
If still doesn't work for you,try using dvbsnoop to dump the video/audio PID to hard drive or network.
Just use the correct dvbsnoop options.
Dvbsnoop is installed in most images.

i recorded 6-7 minutes of different feed channels and i always found only crypt8 of pid audio. I needed crypt8 of pid video to find cw. Do you think that i have to record much more time. How much?

The crypt8 from audio is actually what you want.
Use that crypt8 to find the cw.
