RCS&RDS prepares 2013 change

RCS&RDS has announced important changes to its cable offer in Romania from the beginning of 2013.
They see it effectively reduced to an analogue and a digital package, priced at RON25 (€ 5.59) and RON29 a month respectively, with the ExtraDigital package no longer available.
The new digital package offers more channels than previously (up to 100, compared to ExtraDigital (87) and also has an adult option.
Furthermore, it will cost less than ExtraDigital, though current Basic Digital subscribers will be upgraded to it and therefore have to pay more than at present.
RCS&RDS is both the leading cable and DTH platform operator in Romania. It also has pay-TV interests in five other CEE markets.
