Racing UK TV to sell BoxNation

Racing UK TV, which is currently shown in nearly 4000 pubs and clubs, has been appointed by BoxNation to manage the boxing TV channel’s new commercial subscription service.
BoxNation is a monthly subscription channel, set up by Frank Warren Promotions, and shows big live fights from all around the world, plus features, news and behind-the-scenes access into the boxing world.
Its biggest fight to date will undoubtedly be the David Haye v Dereck Chisora clash at Upton Park on Saturday July 14. British stars Frankie Gavin, Matthew Hall and Liam Walsh will also feature on a prime-time night of boxing, with coverage due to run from 7pm to 11pm.
The channel is now being sold for the first time to commercial outlets in the UK and Ireland, via Racing UK’s commercial team.
Simon Green, CEO at BoxNation, said: “We wanted a partner who understood our product and already had an established reputation for delivering premium sport to the pubs and clubs. The Racing UK team met both criteria and we are sure they will deliver the distribution to match our expectations for the new home of boxing.”
Racing UK’s Commercial Director Nick Mills said: “We are delighted that BoxNation has chosen Racing UK to oversee their new subscription service, especially with such a massive fight coming up, and we are confident that we can bring this hugely-exciting night of boxing to as wide an audience as possible.”
