R01 CA NOT FOUND

I have a DM800HDSE clone with SIM 210.

Once before I had problem with “Error 01 cas not find”.
Solved this problem with Sunray-Flashup. Put then in, iCVS Image-dm800se-9-6-ramiMAHER.nfi. Get problem to put in cams. Did a big mistake, so I had to flash again, and then I get R01 NO CA FOUND.

Yesterday I tried once again to put in a new image with Sunray. My PC found the box and I put in my box IP-adress in first Firefox. Nothing happened. Then I tried with Explorer, I put in image in order as below:

1. Gemini firmware dm 800se-3.0.1.nfi
2. Bootloader #82
3. Bootloader #84
4. LT 7 (I would like to test LT, since I hade problems to put in cams in iCVS-imagen)
5. Reboot (don’t work automatically, so I put the box of and on at the back side of the box)

Then, each time I could follow the process on PC-screen, 0 – 100%, but each time I also simultanuos could watch on my box as below during the flashing:

SIM2 & 4
*192.168.1.14*
Serial mode

That’s to say, nothing seem to happen in the box, or?
When I then reboot the box, I can only read as before, “R01 NO CA”.

Anyone who have any idea what’s gone wrong and the best of all - any idea how for me to go on at next step? Or have my box crashed definitely. :mecry:

Hi mate follow this guide to reflash it

You need to use both the service cable and ethernet together

http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=211783

If this is what you did and flashing still sticks on the extra tab in flashup select recover bad sectors and flash with Sunray Flash UP only not browser but still withh both cables.

5 -- At this stage, you open your browser and insert the romote IP shown on the 800LCD

Page will open as per bellow and then you chose the option Update Firmware.

6 --- Click Browse and navigate to your image

7 --- Chose the image and click Open

Hi mate,

Here I am just now, ready to choose an image, but I can watch a lot of images in thee link, so I have been a little bit confused.;-)

Th e SIM in my DM800SE is: SIM 210. I can watch a lot of images with different boatloaders. Since I already have got problems, I now will be quite sure that I flash a proper image ...

Are all SIM 2.01 for DM800SE = OK?
Need I a image for bootloader #82, or?

Best of all should be if you can tell me a proper image. Later on, when I got my DM800SE back, I have the opportunity to choice another patched image.

Hi again,

Here what I did during waiting for an answer. I test to first flash the factory image from DM.

I have had problem earlier to use Firefox, so I took Explorer.
Moreover, I clicked om Sunrays Extras and took the choice to select "recover bad sectors" (arrow to right here, for others who had problem) as you Ferret learnd me.

After that a put in sim2SE_SSL82.

And it worked!!

After rebbot I begun to do a setup, but then a get a message that the hardware not was ok. Either something there is wrong, or only the MAC-adress was not ok? I don't know.

But now I shall put in an patched image. There are some alternative, so I'm not quite sure which I will take? I heve to read more and hope to get a good choice.

Once again - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!:thum:

Is one solution for this problem .... change your router , trust me !!!
All errors at dreambox is generated by router ... not by dream.
Working 100%

The hardware error report simply means the drivers in that image is not compatible with clones.

On a ssl82 you need to use patched drivers and the hardware error will be cured. This is the reason i mentioned using the SSL84 image because these use original drivers.

Anyway now just flash the image i linked to and all will work as it should, just normal browser flashing will do now.

You mean that I now should continue to always use ssl82, not ssl84, since ssl84 is a bootloader only for original images?
My "verify-question" here is due to the fact, this is such a important, that I hade to be quite sure that nothing will be wrong once again ... ;-)

No i mean you should use a prepatched SSL 84 image ! SSL84 and 84a are available on the clones too.

Use this one and all your troubles will be gone

Ahh, I see, but now I have patched a bootloader ssl82 and this is a ssl84a image. Do I then, first of all, patch my box with a bootloader ssl84?

PS: I'm quite sure that a Nemesis image will be fine for me. I have read that Nemesis often is a recommend image ...

It seems me that all were ok, when I could put in an image again. But not ...
The box says: Both tuner A: as tuner B: are empty tuners ...

As you know, there is only one tuner in my DM800SE.
I don't understand anything ...

Just a small question about this hardware error that occure. I've got this yesterday, when I tried to install orginal Peter Pan 2.3 into DM800 HD se with SIM210.
Then I install Sat4fun-dm800se-sim2-SSL-84 with SUNRAY-FlashUP, box no 1, all ok.
On the second box (800HD se, SIM 210) I installed Sat4fun-dm800se-sim2-SSL-84 with SUNRAY... but here I got hardware error.. Have you any ideas? I've tried several times, but this hardware error occur everytimes...
Thanks

that is strange mate

to sort out this is
1, open DCC
2, click on tools
3, click on upload opkg
4, now send original drivers from 02.09.2011
5, now restart box or turn the box off back then boot again
DO NOT restart enigma

should be ok

Install the latest driver form the tspanel, original driver will work fine on ssl84
