I have a roblem with the box during blind scan the common AC was off and when it come back the box keeping restarting even I load new SW 1.06 bot no way it keep starting any solution?

Blindscan causes all sorts of issuse and fails more often than not.

New firmware is being worked on to stop these scanning issues.

If you keep trying it will sometimes complete.

What i have done in the past is look where it freezes the frequency it freezes on and remove that frequency and try again.

when I download the firmware it write installing update and after that erase so it start the box and the problem remains

Why do you need the e2 side out of interest, what benefit over the android os? I also find the E2 side more familiar as this is what I have been using for many years. Add to that i can easily flip between different images on the E2 side and then boot back into Android for the forever server and...

Your going to loose images on the e2 side redoing the android side though.

what I see that I should use usb flash 4gb to downloads the firmware
for E2 I made buckup for all the images
on Android I use useful application which I canot find in E2

.. and 100% correct. I've just been through this experience after getting Android bootloop. It was no fun at all and took a long time to re-install EVERYTHING from scratch.
Thanks to Coke for his instructions as otherwise it would have been impossible.
Qviart should really have a convenient way to make a "whole box" back-up that could easily be restored in the event of a bootloop - which, from what I hear, is not that rare.

IMHO This box is only at alpha stage and needs a lot of development to remove the many bugs before it can be considered reliable and user friendly.
It has potential but is not a finished product yet.

A little more about getting recovery. I found I needed to press OK about 20 times within about 5 seconds to get the "RECO" on the screen. You can only start pressing "OK" (very rapidly) as soon as you see "BOOT" on the display. You may need to repeat this if it does not work on first attempt.

1- I renamed the usb flash to RomUpdate
2- the normal process but the firmware name is RomUpdate without .bin

I install multiboot / neoboot it istalled on extenal flash but I am not able to install any image I need it to test new image before sending it to the internal flsh if its corrupted can cause problems .

Use openatv in slot one and use the built I'm flashing tool to fill the other slots.

You dont need Neoboot.

Download a image zip to your USB stick.
Put stick in front USB port.
Now in image management on the original image on the e2 side select Flashonline
Scroll to downloaded images. You should see your downloaded image in there.
Select the image and press ok.
Now choose a slot 2,3 or 4 and press ok
Follow the instructions i recommend a clean flash.
