Can someone please answer this questions about the Cuberevo Ipbox 9000

1, Can you put in 2 DVB-C tuners in it ?

2, How many recordings can you make at the same time ?

3, If there is a power failiure, does it automatically set the correct time when the power comes back ?

4, How fast is the fast scan forward and backwards ?

5, Can you use it as a media center ?

6, Does it support playing m2ts files from blu-rays ?

1, Can you put in 2 DVB-C tuners in it ? = YES you can it has swapible tuners DVB-C HD / DVB-S HD DVB-T/


2, How many recordings can you make at the same time ? = you can record up to 2 channels and watch another on same transponder. at the same time. or record one and watch another if using different transponders.

3, If there is a power failiure, does it automatically set the correct time when the power comes back ? = Yes it has a bios clock with a battary backup.

4, How fast is the fast scan forward and backwards ? = this depends on firmware you are using Enigma2 is normaly a little faster and zapping.

5, Can you use it as a media center ? = Yes box can play back loads of diffrant formats but can be unstable at times..

6, Does it support playing m2ts files from blu-rays ? Yes can play full 1080p depending on image sime images dont have 1080p only 1080i. the media player can be unstable however.

So there is no way you can record 3 programs and watch another on the same transponder all in the same time ? is this limit set by the hardware or software? I think the dreambox 8000 can record up to 8 in the same time

I really would like to know for SURE if it`s possible to record 3 shows at the same time (on the same transponder) beacuse I read somewhere that it actually can do that, anyone???

I'm using Vodka latest img on Cuberevo 9000 (using one tuner) and can only record 2 and watch 1 at the same time on the same tp. Just tested it for you.

Thanks for testing, so you have only 1 tuner inside the Cuberevo and can still record 2 programs and watch 1 at the same time? what about if you have 2 tuners can you then record more channels at the same time? do you or anyone else know ?

So yes with 1 turner you can record 2 programs at the same time and watch the third channel. (all channels on the same tp).

I can't answer your question about two turners since I haven't connected a dish to the second turner yet, so I'm not able to test it. Sorry, maybe someone else in this forum might answer that question for you.

Doesn't anyone have 2 tuners in there Cuberevo box and know if you can record more then 2 programs at the same time ??? I really would like to know, but it probably depends on what software your running

You can record four channels(two channels for every tuner) and watch another one which should be on one of the transponders of the other four programs.

Yes. It is the same for e2 and DGS immages.
