Quest for the perfect E2 based image for IP9000HD.

After spending a week, trying "all" the images around, I still haven't succeeded in finding an E2 based image, which supports subtitles and easy install of EMU. An extra bonus would be if tha fan was possible to adjust/stop by settings or plugin, but this is not an absolute demand.

If you read this, and you feel that your experience might be at any help, please feel free to drop a few lines... I would be really glad for any help.

The latest image (SifTeam Enigma2 Extreme Edition v.1.3_1.1.1) is something I'll just have to try, but I suspect that it may lack the EMU-support I'm dependent on, as it is almost impossible for a NUB to sort this out manually. That is, without support from someone with the skills...

If you know how to install, let's say oscam, in an image without downloadable EMU's, it would be great if you could direct me to a place where this is explained, or maybe even just let me know how you did it...

Let's say that the latest SifTeam release is a very good image, but it doesn't have any plugin/addon for Oscam. Then would this alone exclude this image for me, as I can't figure out how to install and start an EMU manually.

WOW! Thanx! Now I know what to do the rest of the day!

Only problem now is to sort out which ones of all these addons and firmwares, that are ment for enigma2 based images.

Hmm... No addons for EMU in the latest image, and no fan control. The packages from the website (URL over here...) doesent seem to "fit" SiftTeam's enigma release. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not completely wrong, as this is another url. Thank you very much. I now understand that there's a few downloads possible, but I'm still struggling a bit to find which one I need to get, let's say, oscam. Any idea..?

Download the ACT image, it has all cams pre-installed, oscam, cccam, vizcam ect...... and if you go to plugin menu you can download others, it might have the fan control plugin too.

Thanx! Now ACT is on my "to do" list. Just heading off to find it...

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong (again); is maybe the ACT image, only for USB, and not for flash..? Is it possible to get it as usb_update.img?

I think its usb only. Check in the enigma2 image section.
