So far, so good. My IPBOX has been doing just what it's supposed
to do for a few month s now.I'm running NLB 9580 feeding sat and cable channels through an HDMI output into a Sharp full HD set to 1081p/50.
Image is quite good ( SD I guess upscaled and the BBC/ITV channels from Sky).In 4/3 mode on the screen it looks neat, but when the broadcast uses letterbox size ( eg films) there is a purple horizontal line remaining where the larger 4/3 image is usually framed at the top.
Is there any way I can remove this ( eg just to have a black frame). Is this imposed by the IPBox?
