Brave (Ribelle - The Brave)

Starring Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane.
Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it's too late.

Mortimer Granville (Hugh Dancy) is a brilliant young doctor in London in the 1880s; he takes modern science as seriously as he does his solemn Hippocratic Oath. Unfortunately, his rigour goes unappreciated by most of his peers. They dismiss Dr. Granville's enthusiasm for what they deem fadish new ideas - ideas such as his "germ theory." And he finds himself bounced from employer to employer. Mortimer is nearly ready to give up on medicine altogether when he meets Dr. Robert Dalrymple (Jonathan Pryce), London's "foremost specialist in women's medicine." That lofty title means that Dalrymple is an expert in "hysteria," a malaise diagnosed so liberally that Dalrymple hypothesizes at least half the city's women are sufferers. To ease these patients' stress, he has developed a form of therapy that involves the careful manual stimulation of a certain female body part. In this period of sexual repression, it never occurs to Dalrymple that these housewives are experiencing something more basic and natural than a mysterious epidemic of insanity: horniness.

The mission is being led by ship captain Janek (Idris Elba) and overseen by Weyland Corporation (the same company responsible for the expedition in Alien) employee Meredith Vickers (Charlize Theron), whose suspicious actions lead others on board to question her real agenda. Upon embarking on the mission, the crew discovers an advanced civilization of extraterrestials. Although the team's goal had been to unlock the secrets of humanity, they soon come face to face with the one thing that threatens to destroy it forever.

Tired of the noise and madness of New York and the crushing conventions of late Eisenhower-era America, itinerant journalist Paul Kemp (Johnny Depp) travels to the pristine island of Puerto Rico to write for a local newspaper, The San Juan Star, run by downtrodden editor Lotterman (Richard Jenkins). Adopting the rum-soaked life of the island, Paul soon becomes obsessed with Chenault (Amber Heard), the wildly attractive Connecticut-born fiancée of Sanderson (Aaron Eckhart). Sanderson, a businessman involved in shady property development deals, is one of a growing number of American entrepreneurs who are determined to convert Puerto Rico into a capitalist paradise in service of the wealthy. When Kemp is recruited by Sanderson to write favorably about his latest unsavory scheme, the journalist is presented with a choice: to use his words for the corrupt businessmen's financial benefit, or use them to take the bastards down.

Paura

Each day, riders who are equal part skilled cyclists and suicidal nutcases, risk becoming a smear on the pavement when they hit the streets with another delivery. But it's all in a day's work for Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a law school drop-out who became a messenger for the simple pleasure of doing something he loves, and getting paid for it. Wilee makes a name for himself as one of the city's best messengers, known for his agile and aggressive riding skills and prompt deliveries - and he does it all on a fixie, a super lightweight, single-gear bike with no brakes. But a guy who's used to putting his life on the line is about to get more than even he is used to when a routine delivery turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan. When Wilee picks up his last envelope of the day on a "premium rush" run, he discovers this package is different. This time, there's a dirty cop who will do anything it takes to get his hands on it, even if it means getting rid of Wilee.

In quale senso è prematuro immaginarlo.

Along the way, he runs into his newlywed bride (Sarah Gadon), who's less than thrilled to see him and accuses him of cheating on her. There's also someone trying to assassinate him, and he decides to track the man down.

Soon after, the continent separates and Manny, Diego, and Sid are left stranded on an iceberg floating away from their loved ones. After surviving a large sea storm, the three friends find Granny (Wanda Sykes), Sid's grandmother, who was asleep in a tree trunk on the same iceberg. But just as soon as they discover her, they are captured by a group of pirates led by Captain Gutt (Peter Dinklage) and his first mate Shira (Jennifer Lopez). Making a daring escape, the gang gets away from the pirates, only to encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and again come face-to-face with the wrath of Captain Gutt.

Paura

In quale senso è prematuro immaginarlo.

Although he's a monster, Dracula is much like any other overprotective dad when it comes to his teenage daughter, Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez). He makes up stories about terrible dangers in order to keep her from wanting to venture outside of the hotel. But that doesn't stop dangers from coming in. Dracula's world starts crumbling when an ordinary human guy (voiced by Andy Samberg), manages to find his way into the hotel and happens to fall for Mavis.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Starring Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Cate Blanchett, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, James Nesbitt, Ken Stott, Sylvester McCoy and Barry Humphries.

Killing Them Softly

Starring Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Sam Shepard, Scoot McNairy, Max Casella, Bella Heathcote, Garret Dillahunt and Ben Mendelsohn.
Frankie (Scoot McNairy) and Russell (Ben Mendelsohn), two not-too-bright ex-cons, are hired by John "The Squirrel" Amato to disrupt a high-stakes backroom poker game, rob the players and frame someone else for the job. That someone else is the card game's manager Markie Trattman (Ray Liotta), who's suspected of staging a previous poker robbery. Unfortunately, the game was under the protection of the mob, whose lawyer (Richard Jenkins) is ordered to find those responsible and take care of them. He hires hitman Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt) to track down the small-time punks.
