What exactly is PowerVu+ and how is it different from from regular PowerVu? Is it an extension of PowerVu or different hashModeCw/modeUnmask/XOR/tables?

I don't see anything different, I have recorded the data stream and found EMM key with PVH the same as any other Powervu TP.

I know it is said that there is no difference from a practical (PVH,PVU Emu) standpoint, just wondering if it is a marketing thing from SA/Cisco/Synamedia, or if it is an actual technical standard.
Powervu plus was coined when broadcasting changed from mpeg2 audio to AC3.
At the time,the only standard was mpeg2 with musicam audio,and no receiver was able to decode AC3 audio,some people might remember.
But then the use of Ac3 was used more and more and Powervu started adding the plus sign to denote those receivers that were prepared for it.
Times changed,but that was the initial push for the plus signature.
