Dear Friends...


Have anyone noticed most of POWERVU encrypted channels are slowly moving to the latest encryption mode which is "POWERVU +"?

TRU TV on 105.5 has already migrated to this and the latest is MTN pack on NSS57 has also changed from POWERVU to POWERVU +.

Our most STB's does not support this new encryption of POWERVU+.

We hope and pray some one will introduce a new SW to unlock this new POWERVU +

A question,what satellite is 105.5?
I do not see trutv in 105.0,beside the fact all channels marked powervu+ in Lyngsat are all viewable at the moment with tools at hand.

Is not any reason for panic. PowerVu+ is used on Amos 2 at 4W 10935H. Everything working fine for now, so there is nothing new about PV+.

Tru tv is available on TURNER INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE on 105.5 TP 3960 H 27500

This channel was able to view few weeks ago but now it has migrated to PVU+

Dear kahub,

MTN PACK on NSS57 has also migrated to PVU+....day by day we might lose all the PVU channels if the broadcaster migrate to PVU+

Ok Nishan, in that case, Lyngsat have wrong information on Amos 2 at 4W 10935H and there is encoded in PowerVu+. Well it would be if someone looked at whether the log difference. CAID is the same.

Sorry but this is complete bull**** like the whole "powervu+" myth... why are you spreading such false information?

I don't think you are even sure those channels are up or down.
Nothing wrong with the channels you mentioned,all open.
I would delete the thread as is unsubstantial.

MTM mux on 47w is utilizing alternate sbox to decrypt the emm blocks. I don't know if that is what you mean by powervu+ or if that is completely another issue.

People take advantage of key changes or sbox changes to claim certain receivers are "working with the new encryption" and all others are down,so people go and buy them.
It is a common practice.
Is the only explanation since nobody is providing logs supporting their claim.
Most people spreading the word are illiterate in that respect : they do not know why,but they want to be the first giving you the news,even though there is nothing new.

Dear Kebien,

Many thanks for your response,may be then some STB's are supporting PVU+ including the STB which you are using, im from South Asia , in this regeion lot of users have effected for some packages such as MTN on NSS57 / TRU TV on ASIA SAT 5 105.5 is not opening..

What I think is you are not using the correct wording.
Powervu+ is not your problem,because many trasponders in america are also labeled as powervu+ and you can watch them.
I just want to say those channels might have some other problem,and if you guys want to fix it,you must supply information,logs,a 10 minutes full TS.
In the case something is really happening,people here can take a look and might find what the problem is.
So,start by recording a TS,and post it here.

There is nothing wrong with that. It's just blank (black screen/no program).
