In any case all this is posible due to findings on master management EMM key. Now colibri post rules to brute force atack but I have not seen the program to brute force find new management keys for new unexplored providers so that we can increse the available satelites/packages. Can anyone point me to that program? I only seen Anubis_Ir asking for EMMs.

yes...also tested with DVB-viewer and Smartdvb...vplug encryption ok,but no picture.

A stable solution for every STB or DVB Card can be timeshift.
Pre record 30 seconds and log the CW after that should be stable

There are people working in a mod tuner for dreambox. Rules do note allow link so I will quote.

"The new tuner is programmable and allows the end user to flash it with code (just like you can flash the receiver firmware). I guess this is how Wizard is coding it to open up powervu channels. I believe the legal application of this tuner is for transport stream upgrades to process exotic signals like 4.2.2, 4.4.2, 4.4.4 and whatever else. I am not a coder, but the way I understand it, coders can flash whatever they want to the tuner which will allow them to manipulate the raw satellite stream in any way they like. "

Another option. So, now that there is vplug it opens the posibility for Test on stb's. Vplug can be run under a server. Then you just connet your stb to your server. Just search in this forum for "vplug sblc" or "vplug fausto". There are other server wrapers available.

Now please note that there mayor reasons as for why most receiver will not get you a good picture. But there is no reason as for why you can not try it and learn in the process. Most likely you will end up been able to decode for the key, but as the other PC alternatives you will not have a picture, due to the DES vs CSA video encoding diference. Good luck.

For using vplug thru Fausto can I check I have read correctly that we use CaID 0E00 (PowerVu) and the Dummy ProviderID: 000000 ie what are the Newcamd definitions to test if any receivers cope with PowerVu's DVB Modulation eg Openbox, WeTek etc

You can test that empb and, in theory, should work.
If you can receive it with OScam, using Newcamd, Radegast or Camd3 protocol
