flash it with IE & reboot ur box (powercycle)
plez dont ever do online update & u have been warned
online update needs certain steps u have to practice & read about it

Reboot your router and try again.

Make sure the router is setup to use DHCP

Looks to me like your router is the problem.

Check it has dhcp enabled so it can assign ip addresses

in your network settings is your primary and gateway the same usually 192.168.0.1, or 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
