planning for 500HD , help pl

own 500s .and long time away from it.
now planing for a 500hd. i found one with sim 2... and sim a8p.
what do you recommend to check cccam.

Just would like to check few more:

1. Can the one with sim a8p will take only original firmware images or can flash with all incl that for sim2..
what is the version 2 images specified in the forum..

2. any friends here bought it from ali express/alibaba ,seems cost around usd 130-140 ; are they good enough to play around?

A8p uses original images only and more importantly the latest OE2.0 images.

You can not do that with sim2 the images for sim2 other than gjstrooms Openpli are now very dated.

Thanks; As I further explore on this found that I get 800HD SE with sim 2.10 thru a local shop at same price while i risk placing an order to some china supplier for a 500HD with A8P. Both being clones.

Could someone guide me for a final decision ?

1. i read about possible issues with tuner on HD channels ;by placing an online order what is my risk? are the chineese brands use proven tuners on 500HD?

2. With taking up above risk, do i have a mileage in having an A8P sim in the long run anyway?
