Busty actress-turned-escort Savannah Gold was found naked and drenched in blood after neighbours in south London heard her screaming.
The married knife maniac, Shohidul Islam, 26, had earlier robbed two bookies with a fake gun.
He then turned up at blonde Savannah's home in Lambeth, throttled her with a rope and bashed her with a plant pot.
He told cops: "I'm sorry."
Yorkshire-born Savannah, 26 - real name Natalie Heck - put her "successful" US porn career on hold to return to Britain.
In 2006 she won a BGAFD porn award for Best Actress.
Islam admitted to the crime and got eight years in jail.
