Orange TV boosts Romanian service

The Romanian DTH platform Orange TV has added four AXN channels – AXN HD, AXN Black, AXN White and AXN Spin – along with Travel Channel to its offer.
Furthermore, it has added Hungarian voiceovers to eight channels – Discovery Channel, CBS Reality, Extreme Sports, Science Discovery, Eurosport 2 HD , ID Investigation Discovery, Jim Jam and MGM.
AXN HD and AXN spin are being offered in thed World HD package, which conisst of 67 Romanian and international channels, 20 in HD, and costs RON8 (€1.76) a month.
AXN Black, AXN White and Travel Channel HD have meanwhile been placed in the Universal HD package, which consists of 98 Romanian and international channels, 39 of which are in HD, and cosst RON 12 a month.
Although the AXN channels are currently in a testing mode, they can be watched in full by Orange TV subscribers.
Orange Romania’s DTH service was launched in June last year.
