I am having a nit of difficulty in installing the cccam on the oozoon image. Can someone be so kind and explain the procedures and which button to press on the remote control for the installation.

Thanks

You can not install from the remote mate.

You need to do a manual install.

Hi
Install it manual then make a Telnet session to Start it.
Enter in the Telnet Window:
cd /usr/camd now Click enter
than add:
./cccam_2.1.2 & now Click enter
thats all now CCcam run´s till you Reboot the Box

Hi
Do the Steps Ferret Post´s
than make the Steps i Post
and you have all the Scripts you
need at your Box.
Remember Oozoon is a CVS Image so there are no
Scripts available

It is in my opinion best to use Oozoon as the image in your flash and then other images in barry allen and use the barry allen images on a daily basis.

Because Oozoon is a cvs image you can keep this upto date using the update feature, obviously as this will always have the latest drivers the images in barry allen will use these and be upto date also.

Does enigma2-plugin-camd-cccam.2.1.2_2.3-r0_mipsel.rar work with other images as well or just oozoon? Cheers

No mate

May work on some images but not on others.

What image you using and what version of CCcam do you need? We may be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi,

Just a quick note, after you install the enigma2-plugin-camd-cccam.2.3.0_2.4-r0_all.ipk file provided by Bellof you can ignore any errors or warnings and add the cccam to startup processes (dreambox startup) with following commands,

ln -s /usr/camd/cccam_2.3.0 /etc/init.d/cccam_2.3.0
update-rc.d cccam_2.3.0 defaults

In order to start/stop the cccam service you need to run following command,
/etc/init.d/cccam_2.3.0 start
/etc/init.d/cccam_2.3.0 stop

If you didn't use the provided cccam package you need to replace the cccam_2.3.0 with actual cccam file from /usr/camd/ directory, have a look inside that folder :)

Best regards,

Marc
