I guess pgi 1.3 is as good as this box will ever get. Works for watching tv, but recording and epg does not work reliably, on my boxes at least. Sad.

Would anyone advice against buying an abcom ipbox today? Are they closing shop too? I need a cheap box with both dvb-s and dvb-t. abcom ipbox 99hd looks good. But if support and development is about to shut down, maybe it's not a good idea.

About recording on pgi 1.3. My problem is that every time the box restarts, the harddisk is no longer detected/mounted. Only way to get it back is to reformat. The only way I know of anyway. Maybe it can be fixed somehow.
