I have a dreambox dm 800 hd PVR.

I have very much experience with dreamboxes like dm 800 hd and dm 800 hd se. I have also fixed a lot of dreamboxes with the same error. But at this time I stuck.

The dreambox was working. I don't know which bootloader was on this dreambox. I started the dreambox in flashmode.

I was trying to upgrade the firmware. I have on my laptop some zip file "sim201_ssl84b". I unzip it and there are 2 files inside of it: sim201_ssl84b.bin and sim201_ssl84b.nfi. First I try to flash the nfi file. I got some error that the firmware is to old or to new. I cannot remember. After this I try to flash the bin file. This was worked. I try to restart the dreambox and than I got an error.

NO CA FOUND SSL84

I don't know which sim is inside of this dreambox. There is no sticker or something on the back of the dreambox.

How can I fix this problem? I trying now optiflasher but still not working. After flashing some bootloader I got the ip address 192.168.1.77 but when I enter this ipadres in the browser there is happening nothing. Also when I enter this ipadres in optiflasher I got an error time out.

Please help?

You have to identify the sim take a look at it and describe it to us if your not sure.

I have open it. It is a white sim with the text:

e-star
V3.0

I googled the photo:

So now I know why I am stuck. I trying all the time bootloaders and images for the sim 2.10. But I need to use the one for e star sim. Where do I need to begin now? Do I need to flash some bootloader for e star. And after that flash some image for e star?

you have just to flash your receiver with a suitable image,or just the valid secondstage.

estar sim is very old. i remeber that there was a tool which converts estar sim to ferrari,for newer images,but i can't find it somewhere now. do a search,i think it is something good for you.

I used optiflasher in advanced mode 2. I flashed first the ssl84. After this I flashed the image 800_icvs_84_gp3backup.nfi.

Hi,

I have a dreambox dm 800 pvr estar 3.0. It was stuck last week and I got a "no ca found" error. I used optiflasher and flashed the dreambox with a null modem cable in advanced mode 2 with this ssl:

After I flashed this ssl I have flashed this image:
