newnigma2 software update

hello i notice there is a software update choice in the newnigma menu,if i select this exactly what will happen,will all my settings and plugins still be there after the update,i dont want to have to mess about with re-tuning the motor and installing cams,any info appreciated thanks.

update is only for picons. nothing should happen to other settings on your box.
but anyway you should use the configsaver and save all your important settings befor you start the update.

if your box is clone then do not update on line

yes box is a clone,i been getting lots of glitching even on fta channels was wondering if an update would help.

you will have hardware problem

i don't know with one you are using
but i have made back up for 800HD and 800SE 3.2.2 both working ok see the image section
