New owner for Czech Media One

The Czech marketing agency Media One has been acquired by Stepan Wolde, the executive director of Atmedia, from Michael Richter for an undisclosed fee.
Commenting on the deal, E15 says that Wolde is expected to continue working for Atmedia, which represents 21 thematic channels including Disney, Minimax, Sport 1, TV Paprika, Ocko, Film+ and National Geographic Channel.
Media One is a small to medium sized player in the Czech market, with its main business being in various forms of advertising and sponsorship of TV programmes, especially on Prima TV and the national public broadcaster CT.
Last year it participated in a tender, through a subsidiary, to secure a five-year licence to sell commercial airtime on CT.
