New OpenPli image how and where?

A friend of mine has a DM800 Clone. There sim201e-76-OpenPLi-unstable-dm800-20100514.nfi runs on, but what is the latest software for the box

Looks like first he will have to update his boot loader to ssl84b and then look for latest image from gjstroom, which are safe for clones.Flash boot loader first then new image.

And this is the firmware sim201e-76-OpenPLi-unstable-dm800-20100514.nfi
What do I have to have up to date

As indicated above youll need to upgrade you bootloader to 84b before flashing the above image.

Well its a OE2.0 plugin but if you use 7zip to extract to usr level you can then FTP the folder over to us/lib/engma2/phython/plugins/extensions then chmod folder to 755 and reboot.

I think this plugin only for OE 2.0 have not seen for OE 1.6
