New kids channel for TVP

The Polish public broadcaster TVP will launch its new children’s channel TVP ABC on February 14.
It will be distributed via DTT on the first multiplex and in addition on selected cable networks and DTH platforms.
TVP does not specify what the latter are, but local reports say it is currently negotiating with a number of parties.
TVP has been steadily adding to its thematic channel portfolio, with the entertainment-based TVP Rozrywka and documentary TVP Dokument joining its line up in the last nine months.
