NBC expresses concern about the incident, which took place on 10 July., in Czestochowa, in the course of the nineteenth pilgrimage Family of Radio Maryja . The participants of the pilgrimage by force prevented the performance of journalistic team of one of the television stations. The National Council advises that all media have a right to coverage of public events on important social issues, taking place in public space. It is unacceptable to divide the media in good times and bad, and decide who can and who do not narrate these events.
The use of force against journalists "Polsat News" and thus preventing the exercise by them of their work is not compatible with current standards in Poland. In the case of a mass event, the organizers of their duty to ensure the safety of everyone gathered, including reporters. NBC calls on participants in public life for equal treatment of all media. Also cautioned against excitation dislike and distrust of journalists, whose work serves the public right to information.
