N-Line on TM5402M3

Im trying to put an nline into my tm5402.Ive manually put a cline in and worked fine but now subscribed to an nline connection.Ive put it on a skybox via usb and it works fine but Ive tried everything on the TM box, manually entered details,selected newcamd etc but still no joy.Ive even downloaded the cs file,copied and pasted the relevent details,saved and uploaded but stll wont work.
Im probably missing or doing something wrong,anyone any ideas.

this is the format for the TM5402 MK3 you need to add details save, put it on a usb stick then transfer it

Thanks mate.Thats pretty much what I have.Ive no password nor was givin one but there is no password showing on other box and its working and that file is exactly what I have and details are all correct when I download it to usb.Dont understand why its working on a v8 box and not the TM one. Oh Im on version 139p

don't put any N: Or C: in these configs just the server name

You have lost/confused me.Hopefully not against rules but in simple terms can you say how to put the details I have into this reciever,cause I tried every method I know..

ive just showed you 2 posts up don't put any N or C in ip line
if you say username and password in blank don't put anything in them 2
des key same if 15 16 add them
then just add your port number to port

Brum....thanks for ur help.With new years etc fair play to ye Look I have a defo working N-LINE I need to put on to a TM 5402. Every common method I tried wont work,either Im doing something wrong or I dono...working line..most up to date patch...anyone suggest a fix?

Have you tried manually adding details via 8281 on remote yet ??

i never would try any other way myself .. and U Must try doing it manually its really a lot easier and i give you detailed instructions here to follow ...

Try again but dont have this N line active in another other box or it wont work ..
USE Connection 0
press > OK

Protocol = NEWCAMD


ADD Address next the one you were given on the N Line only putting/editing in address name [ SERVER Name ] as shown in example below ..ensure you only use small case letters on keypad unless its different on the N LINE that you have ..

obvious you can see how that will work u add server which you see on your N Line ... obviously not adding the N:

when pressing okay button you get keypad open to use remote control to add the letters and numbers required..
but u will see that you have to drop some bits from the N Line you were provided such as N: AS ITS NOT REQUIRED ON NON Linux box like TM5402 .

Exit button press once only ..

Next = ID > OK
xxxxxxxxx

whatever is following the server name on N Line that you got .

Then PASSWORD > OK Button

this is the last line of numbers or letters in the N LINE
simple enuff add it in again exactly how it is with N Line u have .

Port = xxxx
this is 5 digit number at the very end of the N Line

dont change any DES KEY leave as defaulted unless its different on N LINE U Have which i very much doubt .

Next > Exit Button x2

Settings Were changed do you want to save changes ?
MOVE TO YES AND Press ok button on remote

Next press RED button to activate LINE
[ This is where i think you went wrong ]

it should connect now ??
provided u didnt make any spelling errors
YOU MAY HAVE TO SWITCH BOX OFF AND ON AGAIN For it to connect .

Give that a try and take your time

Done and tried eveything you suggested..never got a password btw but it worked fine on usb transfer to v8 skybox si I totally missing something on the TM box

Oh god.. sorted..The password was extension of the user name.. gona bury head now as it was so obvious!!!
