my satellite receiver just died on me

hi to all, my satellite receiver just died on me, its a tm 5400cl +usb not hd .
so its time to go hd . can you all help me out?
whats the best satellite receiver to go for ,and whats open?
I used to use sortcam and diablo cam a few years ago. but things have changed . with the technomate it used to open dig tv on thor movies ,sports and kids chaannels on a lot of satellites. so I need some help pls. I live in uk .

ok sorry to hear your tm5400ci died on you but since your looking to upgrade why not go for the Tm5420 m2 HD
or Tm5402 M3 HD they are fairly cheap and pretty much the exact same menu as your Tm5400ci

it wont take a lot to configure it to your pleasing and there is plenty of channel lists and software available right here on this forum right here : http://www.sat-universe.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=408

at the moment there quite a lot of DigiTR 7e open , 23.5e skylink channels and few Bulsat channels on 39 east
and TNT Sat 19.2 east clearing with latest patch and softcam keys ,
and plenty of Biss key feeds aswell and of course 8281 menu for CCcam/Newcamd sharing ..plus Hardstation 1/2 for lots and lots of adult videos .
I have the TM5402 M2 HD and i gotta admit its well worth the small price tag every bit .

i also have a few dreambox HD boxes 500 & 800SE HD but of course they are quite advanced and of course expensive aswell .

wow thanks for the info sounds good stuff,therse a lot open even some sky channels I think,i didnot know about it. all I need is a Tm5402 M2/M3
can you tell me more about this,(feeds aswell and of course 8281 menu for CCcam/Newcamd sharing ..plus Hardstation 1/2 for lots and lots of adult videos). are there any other satellite receivers that opens channles, with a softcam ,patch, or any other way of opening channels/packages .
I have a 80cm dish motorised,and I live in the uk. so what would be the best satellite receiver hd, to go for is it the Tm5402 M3 HD ? can some one help me out pls.

Tm5402 M2 HD CI+ SUPER has 1 card slot and 2x Cam slots
1x USB for recording and updating software ,

Tm5402 M3 HD CI SUPER has 2x USB Slots 1x card slot and 1x CAM Slot

the M3 will get better support as with any new box
today there was another new patch issued with several minor fixes .

OF Course there is other satellite recievers but really the Tm5402 M3 HD is a solid option especially since your motorised already , and sure you'll get all the help you need you only need to ask .
The TM5402 M3 HD really is the best option because its not going to be very much different as far as menu layout as your old tm5400 box which really is just a basic cheap Free to air box now .

Have a read on my post above and follow my links its pretty much a 10 min job to get it up and running .
its not really so difficult as many other HD Boxes probably will be for you to set up as i said most other options are purely for advanced users only .

I understand it up to this , (then you Simply press 8281 and Enter PIN = 0000)
is it 8281 or 8280 ?. it then says ,(now you can add in your CCcam lines here or Newcamd lines).
I have had a look on Google for this, "CCcam/Newcamd"**** sharing, there are lots of sites that have lines on them . but I still do not know were, the best place to get them from ? help ?

MENU 1 ...................Type 8281 on any screen..../ then PASSWORD.....................
MENU 2 ...................Type 8280 on a screen ............................ or Go to System Information = 2 new menus- RIGHT MENU.
MENU 3 ....................Press MUTE THEN EXIT on any screen or Go to System Information = 2 new menus- LEFT MENU.
MENU 4-...................... Press MUTE THEN EXIT then BLUE BUTTON
TO SWITCH OFF PATCH, go into System Information Menu type 2004 (repeating turns it back on).
Remove zoom box - press zoom & zoom to area - press UHF then exit = no zoom box.
STREAMS ................ Type 1149 on the Entertainment menu = 2 new buttons = pin number protected - mature content -
(repeat 1149 to remove). F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 RED GREEN YELLOW BLUE keys - special uses.
